Arriving with the team on Sunday, the day was dreary with rain and cool air. We ended up driving over the border to visit Canada as some of the players had the chance to witness Ontario, Canada first hand. A very quiet laid back environment, and amazingly nice. Some of the team players included Mr. Mehdi, Mr. Hernan, Nicholas, Dennis, Stephen, and Milad. We were able to walk around and see the beautiful view from the lake and the city of downtown Windsor. Milad commented on the "PIZZA PIZZA", store. "I thought it was pretty good and pretty tasty" Milad very well enjoyed it, since he had the most amount of slices eaten. But, overall it was a very pleasant visit to Canada.

Monday, The team pretty much ended up hanging and relaxing after waiting to receive their credentials and for some to weigh in. It has been confirmed that Miss. Cheryl has moved up a weight division. Although the challenge will be there, the ambition will show in the ring. Please be sure to visit back as we continue to update the website.

Congratulations goes to the Judo Team for another great result at the local MD Junior Judo Championships held at College Park, Maryland. Thuc Tran wins gold in both open division and in his division. Christopher wins a gold in his division and a silver in his open division. Additional benefits to the tournament, the team had the privelage to meet Japan's third ranked Judoka and a recognized celebrity of Human Weapon Yasutaka Ohkawa of Tokai University.
